The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office will open 13 additional Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) Monday, November 5. These Phase II centers, along with the 15 already opened in Phase I, bring the total to 28 VSPCs operating throughout the county to service voting needs through Tuesday’s election. Phase I VSPCs will be open Saturday, November 3, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and all (Phase I &II) VSPCs will be open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

LIST OF VOTER SERVICE AND POLLING CENTERS​ (VSPC)

In support of the General Election, three of our branches will operate only as Voter Service and Polling Centers on Monday, November 5, and Election Day Tuesday, November 6, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. No motor vehicle, Driver’s License and Recording service will be available at Centennial Hall, North-Union Town Center, and Fort Carson. Full motor vehicle and recording services will be available at the Main (Citizens Service Center) and Powers offices. These locations also will offer Voter Service and Polling Center services 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

VSPCs serve voters in many ways. A voter may visit any VSPC in the county. At each location, a voter may:

  • Register to vote
  • Update their voter registration file
  • Request a replacement ballot
  • Vote on an ADA accessible voting machine
  • Drop off their voted ballot
  • Vote in person

“We are appreciative of the community partners who have offered their locations as a VSPC,” said Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman. “A polling location has to check many boxes to meet the standards of Colorado’s voting system. They have to be ADA accessible, have adequate parking, high-speed internet, and, in some cases, have to be available for a month. We’re happy to be bringing new locations in southeast areas of the county as well as continue our partnership with long-standing locations we’ve used in previous elections.”

The Phase II VSPCs opening are: East Library, Regional Building, Manitou Springs City Hall, Corpus Christi Parish Hall, Norris Penrose Event Center, Calhan DOT Substation, St. Dominic Catholic Church, Vista Grande Baptist Church, Black Forest Fire Department, SA Wilson, Victory World Outreach, Woodmoor Community Center and Library 21c.

Anyone who has not yet registered to vote or who needs to update their registration should visit a VSPC. A map of all the VSPC locations is available at www.EPCVotes.com. All locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday, Election Day.

Voters are also advised to use only the ballot drop boxes to return their mail ballot. If a voter tries to return their mail ballot through the United States Postal Service, it may not be delivered to the Clerk’s Office in time to be counted. All ballots must be received by the Clerk’s Office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Postmarked ballots received after the election deadline cannot be counted.
