This week, El Paso County Department of Public Works’ contractor, began exploratory work in support of upcoming construction at the McLaughlin Road, Old Meridian Road and Rolling Thunder Way intersection in the community of Falcon.
Construction will begin on or after March 9, 2020. Work will consist of constructing a roundabout and associated approaches, as well as an underground drainage system and pedestrian improvements. Future updates will be provided as the project transitions through each phase. The project is anticipated to be completed in 3 phases to minimize impacts to residents, businesses and commuter traffic. Businesses will be open during construction.
