It’s the week you’ve been waiting for all year. It’s the El Paso County Fair. The 2018 El Paso County Fair is Saturday, July 14 to Saturday, July 21, and you can enjoy all the shows and events with the purchase of the new El Paso County Fair Golden Ticket.
“We are offering this exceptional ticket opportunity because we want to encourage our fair guests to be able to experience all of the wonderful features the County Fair has to offer,” said Stacy Reavis, Fairgrounds Program Coordinator. “The Golden Ticket allows fair guests access to the Fair all week and exclusive Grandstand Seating at all four major ticketed evening events
The Golden Ticket is $55 and allows the purchaser access to the fair all eight days including admittance to the auto races, bull riding, truck and tractor pull, and the demolition derby. The ticket holder will receive special center grandstand seating for these events.
Reavis said, “The Golden Ticket is a great savings with a value of $69.00 for only $55.00. It is budget friendly. By pre-purchasing Golden Tickets it enhances the fair guests’ experiences by offering an inclusive pass good for all eight days to enjoy the carnival, vendors, and the evening grandstand events.”
The 2018 El Paso County Fair also features the Elephant Extravaganza, Butterfly Encounter, the Salida Circus performers, 4-H exhibits, concerts, and carnival rides.
“Come out and enjoy great Fair food, the commercial vendors, as well as the awesome livestock sale that supports the efforts of our El Paso County youth,” said Reavis. “Fair guests can ride an elephant, try milking a cow, meet furry friends at the petting zoo and participate in fun contests.”
