El Paso County receives federal funding through Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program to improve the physical, economic, and social conditions for low-and-moderate income residents. The projects funded by CDBG help build neighborhood resiliency through supportive services; infrastructure improvements; housing safety, accessibility, and stability; emergency shelter; whole family health; safety services for youth, seniors, and people with disabilities; homelessness prevention; and more.
