February 15, 2023 – El Paso County administrative, elected administrative offices, and affiliated agencies will be closed on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, due to inclement weather and hazardous driving conditions in El Paso County.
Employees who have the capacity to work remotely should do so. Employees who are working remotely should proceed as normal. The closure applies to non-mission essential personnel and includes:
- El Paso County Public Health
- El Paso County Department of Human Services
- El Paso County Clerk and Recorder
- Offices of the El Paso County Combined Courts
- El Paso County Assessor
- El Paso County Treasurer
- 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office
- CSU Extension
- Public Trustee
- Pikes Peak Workforce Center
Although the courthouse is closed and all in-person appearances will be rescheduled, it is possible some hearings may be held virtually.
Your attorney or the division will contact you by phone if your matter will be handled virtually.
Please note, if you are scheduled to meet with a Family Court Facilitator for your Initial Status Conference, your initial Status Conference will be held as scheduled as these appointments are conducted through the WebEx Application (by phone or video). Please refer to your Order and Notice of Initial Status Conference for WebEx instructions. You can also reach out to your assigned facilitator if you have questions.
