Many of the in-person services offered by El Paso County—which were temporarily curtailed by State orders related to COVID-19—will be expanding in line with the relaxation of health orders. The phased expansion will allow citizens to get the in-person services they need while maintaining social distancing and the health and safety of citizens and staff alike.
The County remained open and operational for essential services during the statewide “stay-at-home” order. Many services are currently available online for those not wanting to risk a personal interaction.
“As promised, El Paso County remained open for essential services,” said Board of County Commissioners Chair Mark Waller. “Not only do we provide numerous services that no one else can, but our services are critical to the region’s recovery from COVID-19.”
