Grievance Procedure

This Grievance Procedure is established to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”). It may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of disability in the provision of services, activities, programs, or benefits by El Paso County. The County’s Personnel Policies and Procedures govern employment-related complaints of disability discrimination.

The complaint should be in writing and contain information about the alleged discrimination such as the name, address, phone number of the complainant and location, date, and description of the problem. An electronic submission form is provided below for convenience.

If the form below is not a preferred method of communication, a Complaint/Grievance Form can be downloaded, completed and returned by email or in person. Alternative means of filing complaints, such as personal interviews or a tape recording of the complaint, will be made available for persons with disabilities upon request.

  • To return via email, please submit to: ADACompliance@ElPasoCo.com
  • To return in person, you may do so by visiting the Facilities & Strategic Infrastructure Management building located at: 325 South Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903

The provided forms and processes are designed to provide the opportunity to quickly and effectively resolve any issue(s) as they relate to El Paso County and the ADA.
