The El Paso County Park Advisory Board selected Mark and Debbie Bibb as the 2019 El Paso County Parks Volunteers of the Year.
The Bibbs were instrumental in designing, creating and developing the Equestrian Skills Course at Bear Creek Regional Park that allows equestrian riders and horses the opportunity to train and experience navigating obstacles found on wilderness trails.
Their work included coordinating ongoing workdays and organizing fundraising events benefiting the Equestrian Skills Course, as well as establishing a “friends group” to support the skills course.
