Natalie Sosa Announced as Deputy Public Information Officer

The El Paso County Public Information Office is pleased to welcome Natalie Sosa as the new Deputy Public Information Officer.

“I couldn’t be happier to welcome Natalie to our communications team,” said Ryan Parsell, Chief Public Information Officer. “Natalie has a proven track record of responsiveness, skill, and dedication to transparency. Her experience and collaborative style will be a tremendous asset to our organization.”

Prior to joining the Public Information Office, Sosa served in the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for 12 years. During her time in the Sheriff’s Office, Sosa served as the assistant Public Information Officer to Jackie Kirby. She also served as Sheriff Bill Elder’s assistant and worked as a dispatcher. Sosa replaces Matt Steiner, who became the El Paso County Public Health PIO earlier this year.

Sosa will be the main point of contact for inquiries related to the El Paso County Department of Public Works, the Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management, and the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center. She will also serve as a back-up to Ryan Parsell if he cannot be reached.
