The public is invited to a community meeting to share their input and learn about the exciting plans for a potential northern El Paso County Nature Center.
Please join El Paso County Staff and Altitude Land Consultants from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the Black Forest Fire and Rescue Station 1 located at 11445 Teachourt Road, Colorado Springs, CO, 80908.
The mission of the nature centers is to connect visitors to their natural and cultural resources and inspires them to become stewards for the environment. With the long-term success of the existing nature centers, there is a community desire for a nature center in northern El Paso County. Community input is essential in determining the feasibility of location, potential partnerships and collaborations, as well as the long-term use and maintenance of a potential northern El Paso County Nature Center.
